About
Laura Berkey is a certified paralegal and Notary Public. Laura joined Frost & Beck in February 2019 and has been a managing/supervising paralegal for over 37 years working in a variety of areas of law. For the past 20 years, she has been devoted to Family Law where her true passion lies.
Laura assists clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives by remaining compassionate, supportive, and an advocate for the clients of the firm. Laura’s empathy for clients was bonded after going through her own divorce when her son was very young. She believes in the importance of family and understands the stressors and challenges parents face on a daily basis, especially after raising her son as a single mother.
Laura received her Paralegal Certificate from Hickey Business School in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born and raised in Illinois, moved to Florida with her family in her early twenties, and relocated to Colorado in 2007.
Outside of the office, Laura loves spending time with her husband, son, and three cats, Sophie, Peanuts and Lil’ Gray. She enjoys reading and the outdoors, especially during the summer spending time gardening and enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather.
